THE BEST VAPE STARTER KIT for January 2020

What Is A Starter Kit?

Unfortunately, almost every mod and tank set you see that are sold together are labeled a best vape starter kit. Not too long ago that was not the case. You had to buy your mod and tank separately.

So the definition of this has changed a little bit over the past few years. It has come to mean any mod with a tank in the same box.

The traditional definition of a starter kit is a mod that comes with a tank and an internal battery. Basically all you need to do is add juice and you are vaping. We are going to use that definition going forward in this article.

I did want to point out though that there are other types of items listed as starter kits but for the purposes of this article we’re just going to talk about simple internal battery mods with a tank.

The best starter kits tend to come in two form factors. They come in a pen shape and a box mod shape.

The pen shape starter kits tend to be the simplest among the two that we are going to go over. They usually don’t have any way to adjust the wattage and they are just simply made to fill up, push the button and vape.

Box mod starter kits tend to have some type of variable setting where you can adjust the wattage or voltage. They also may have a screen and a menu system that is simplistic in most cases.

Most starter kits will excel in either direct lung vaping or mouth to lung vaping. Very few starter kits do both well. Consider this before you buy.

Reasons Why You Need To Try A Vape Starter Kit

The whole reason starter kits exist is for new vapers. They are an easy way for a new vaper to start vaping without having to learn a lot of the ins and outs of vaping.

They are also very easy to operate and can provide the user with a satisfying vape. This makes them a great buy for a newbie.

Most starter kits are made with the mind-set of converting a smoker over to vaping. Because they are entry-level devices they also tend to be on the affordable side. Starter kits are best vape for a new vaper to start their vaping journey.

With the popularity of the Pod system, the starter kit has fallen out of favor a bit but that does not mean they are not a good buy for the smoker that is looking to quit the starter kit still has it’s place.

What To Look For In A Vape Kit

  • Simplicity – You want to buy a starter kit that’s simple easy to operate.

  • Distribution – You want to buy a starter kits that you’re going to be able to buy coils for. A lot of companies have starter kits but they may not have the best distribution.

Because there are so many Vape companies we suggest that you stick with the more well-known ones so you’ll always be able to get coils for your kit.

  • Battery Life – You are going to want to buy a starter kit that will get you through most of the day. Battery life is going to depend on how many times you actually vape on your starter kit during the day. If you think you are going to be a heavy user you may want to look at a starter kit with a large battery capacity. Battery capacity is measured in milliamp hours or mAh. The more milliamp hours the more battery life you will get.

  • Capacity – If you are going to be a heavy user, capacity is going to be an issue as well. You’re going to want to buy a starter kit that has a decent E-liquid capacity because you don’t want to feel like you’re filling it up all day.

  • Price Point – Because this may be your first kit, price point may be a big issue to you as well. Most people don’t want to spend a lot of money on something they’re not sure they are going to enjoy. In order to find a kit that is best for you, it’s probably a good idea to visit a vape shop and talk to somebody behind the counter before you buy.

If that’s not a possibility you might want to watch as many YouTube reviews as you can in order to increase the chances of you getting something you’ll actually enjoy. At vaping insider we have reviewed many starter kits on our YouTube channel and in our reviews section

The best starter kit for you will ultimately depend on your subjective requirements Keep the above in mind before you buy.

Should I Consider A Cheap Vape Starter Kit?

Starter kits are pretty inexpensive however like most things in life, you do get what you pay for.

There are starter kits that are very budget-friendly but at the same time they may not give you the same quality of vape as something that may be just a few dollars more.

I would say that if you are going to get into vaping you’re probably better off spending a few dollars more and getting yourself a good quality kit that gives you a quality vape. Ultimately the best starter kit for you will depend on your budget, but paying a bit more is usually worth it.
