Old thread, I know, but here's some bike porn! I ride year round with the exception of ice and rain. If I'm caught in it, then I deal. Enjoy! :emoji_dark_sunglasses::emoji_call_me: IMG_20180807_104715_952.jpg 2019-01-14 02.17.50.jpg

    Hi Jen-
After over 35 years of riding- we just stopped in 2016 and sold our Lucy.
We ordered Lucy in 95 got her in 96 and had her till 2016.
We've been all over and in kinds of weather, made great friends along the way.

    Good Morning Snapdragon! :)

Your Lucy is beautiful! :emoji_heart_eyes:I know you were upset to put riding down. It's a wonderful thing to be able to travel and see places on them. I am well traveled on mine as you can see. This was taken after a two week+ trip early 2018. Started out mainly empty then had goodies added. Lol. The other pic was a ride we organize each year for the children.
Your Lucy was just beautiful, again! I'm wanting to add a Softail or maybe a StreetGlide in the future here.
Thank you for sharing. Always great to see those like minded! :)
I hope you're day is blessed!

Well, I've been offline for a bit. First it was running back and forth daily trying to help my Dad out. Then had a day off. Returned to his house again, but this ended up happening.
17 year old hit my baby! More than likely totaled. Will know this week if the frame was involved since my crash bars took a hard hit. Plenty of damage that I am just sick over. I'm ok, but my heart isn't. ...

Needless to say, I upped my nic level, immediately!

Shit! That breaks my heart. I think I would go nuts if I ever saw my ride on the ground like that.

I wasn't very friendly. ...I about lost it myself. Kid got smart and said she could have driven off. That was after I checked get for rolling her eyes. Let her know I'd found her @$$.
The deputy was heartbroken that evening and helped me right side her. It was sickening to see. Her grandmother used to ride with her husband and needless to say she was fumed.
I'll know more this week. Unfortunately, I don't have a good feeling. ...

So very sorry, Glad you are OK. Nothing worse that a kid that is a smart ass on top of it. Sounds like mommy and daddy has saved her a few times.

Yes, I'm not harmed with the exception of my heart. That's the best thing about it.

Thank you all since we know those are our babies. Dealing with that kid plus her bestie was about nerve racking.:emoji_pouting_cat: Her grandparents have full custody of her now for a year. Her gdad is a prominent pastor in the Montgomery area. He used to ride as well. She had to type up a full page of apology to her gmom for her attitude the next morning, so that's a plus on this being a huge learning lesson. Both attitude and careless driving. Found out she was hired on with the State by my aunt.
I rebooked my bike last night and there's hope unless the frame checks out bad. The crash bars were pushed back pretty hard and they won't know until they dissect it this week on the lift. I put her on trailer vs riding it, gut feeling turned out to be good on that. I couldn't believe all the damage once I got to see everything in the daylight. She's backfiring pretty bad, but that's fine since she laid down over two hours. I expected that much. Ha! :)

I didn't say in the previous posts but under the bike on the right side she was lifted up enough for me to lie under it. The pic doesn't show the depth. I caught heck trying to get my license out much less turning the gas off. Everything seemed to be on the left side. My Hornady cup didn't leak my tea though. :) :)
