What’s up, Insiders? DeucesJack, I’m at VapingInsider.com. We’re going to be going over a nice, little single cell mod. I’m talking about the Vaporesso Swag 2. It’s got that Gen, the Vaporesso Gen, that awesome rubbery finish with a little bit of extra to it. It’s got the same finish.
Before we get into the video, don’t forget, Insiders. Head on over to our Facebook group. We’re going to have a link down below. The bigger the group gets, the stronger we get, the more informed we are. Head on over there and check it out. There’s a great group of people over there.
From Top to Bottom
Check it out. Kind of neat. You notice right away, as soon as you see it in the box, it’s got that Gen mod like texture. I’m definitely digging that. Look at this little kit. Pico style form factor. Beautiful Gen finish. It’s got a little bit of Vaporesso branding over there. Check out your fire button. A little bit of a raise on it. Nice and clicky. Menu button over here, plus and minus button over here, a little bit more Vaporesso branding. Check out that little deep. See that little curve in the middle? It’s nice. When you hold it, it’s got a nice curve to it, nice form factor to it. Really, really nice job on the finish of this mod.
On the bottom, you can see, we got two screws holding everything in place and we have some venting as well.
Tank screws off, just like every other 510 connection. Let me show it to you. This is the NRG PE tank. Gold plated 510, insulator ring around it, stainless steel threading around that. Bottom airflow, adjustable, with stoppers on both sides. Dual bottom airflow. Whatever you do on one side, happens on the other side. A little bit of Vaporesso branding on top. Nice, big comfortable drip tip. Pull it out. It is a 510 drip tip. Top cap here, has a little bit of a step-up over there so not all 510s will look good on it, just be aware of that. There is your mark right there, for the slider cap. Pop it over, just like so. It’s got a nice stiffness to it but it really has no lock. I wish it had a locking system, I really do.
In order to access your coil, you unscrew the bottom. You can see, coils moving with the base, comes out just like that. No bubble glass version on this because of the battery tab on the mod. You probably wouldn’t be able to use a bubble glass, only a straight glass and you don’t get a spare. That’s going to be a con as well. Vaporesso, if you’re going to do a kit with a removable glass, you have to put a spare in there. I understand why you didn’t put the bubble glass in there because it won’t fit. The battery cap will get in the way. But you got to put a spare glass in there. That’s a big no-no.
Here is the spare coil that you get. 0.5ohm, 25-35W. This is the C cell coil, that ceramic coil that Vaporesso loves so much. I’ll be honest with you, probably my least favorite vaporesso coil. Just not a fan of ceramic in general. I’m not sold on vaping on ceramic but I know a lot pf people do love this coil. It’s a low wattage coil. You get it as a spare in this kit.
This is the coil that comes pre-installed in the kit. 0.15ohm, 50-75W, best at 50-70W. You can see, it’s a dual mesh coil inside. This is definitely more my jam. This is the one we’re going to use to test it out.
Juice we’re going to be using today is Carousel. This juice is fantastic. It’s a fruit smoothie cotton candy. Just think of it as a fruity cotton candy. If you like sweet juices, definitely check this one out. It also comes in 75ml bottles. So this isn’t your standard 60ml.
First thing you want to do, you want to get a little juice down the middle there. Prime that coil a little bit, get it nice and saturated. And just take your juice bottle and stop priming the edges. Get those juice slots started, get them nice and wet. Put a couple of more drops on top there. Now you’re all primed and ready to go. Now we’re going to take our base. We’re going to screw it on to our tank section, nice and easy, justy like so. And now we’re going to look for a mark. There it is right there. Slide it over, stick that juice bottle in there and give it a nice squeeze. Fill it up with some cotton candy deliciousness. Once it’s all filled up, slide that bad boy over, now we’re going to have it side on the side. Let it soak up a little bit. As I said before, Pico style form factor. Here’s your battery cap right here. Nice threading on the battery cap, nothing wrong with it. I don’t know if you can see it but there is a negative marking on the battery cap. I wish it was clearer. That’s going to be a bad job, Vaporesso.
Screen & Menu System
You load your battery in there, positive side down, negative side up. Put your battery cap on, give it a little twist and you can see, we’re in business right away. Like I said before, fire button, menu button, plus, minus button on the side there. Menu button works as follows. Press the menu button three times, now you can scroll through pulse mode, power eco mode which actually works really great if you’re running out of battery, Smart TC, DIY mode which is curve, and system set. All of the stuff on here pretty self explanatory. This is the Axon chipset so it does do temperature control really well. If you go into other settings there, you got your puff counter, you got your brightness, you got your flip screen option, your smart variable wattage. You can turn that on or off. It will suggest a wattage for you. You have your auto eco right there, when the battery goes in 40%, it puts it into Eco mode. You have your defaults right there, your version, and exit.I’ve just been leave it in Pulse mode. I’ve been enjoying it in Pulse mode. I think it’s a great mode. This mod does do great TC as well. But you got to run something that has a TC coil. This is not a TC coil, the mesh in this one.
As far as the screen goes, you got your battery percentage, your resistance, your puffs, your wattage, and your mode that you’re in. I am in Pulse mode right now. That’s the mode I’m usually been running it in. Real simple menu system, especially if you own a Gen. You’re going to know how to navigate this menu system.
When you put the tank on it, you can see, it matches up really, really well and it’s a tight fit. Look at that. There’s not much space between the tank and the battery cap. So I can understand why they didn’t go with a bubble glass but they still need to provide a spare glass in the kit. That’s wrong. You can see, it’s asking me if I got a new load. If I hit yes, it’s scanning it and it’s saying that the wattage that I have on there is fine for this coil.
That’s it, folks. That’s basically the whole menu system, the whole kit. There’s your micro USB charger right there. Not sure if I pointed it out. If you’re into that Pico form factor, this thing is just drop dead gorgeous and it’s got a much better chipset than any Pico on the market. So if you’re into that form factor, definitely check this one out because it’s fantastic.

Alright, Insiders! You saw everything up close and personal. Let’s get to those cons and pros. We’re starting off with cons as usual.
First con is going to be, China, China, China, China, I’m sick of saying it, I really am. I’m fed up with it. If you guys gotta start listening, it’s a single 18650 mod. It should have been a single 21700 mod. What hell don’t you guys understand? Nobody in the states want a single 18650 mod, nobody. And the people that do, let them use an adapter. I want a 21700 mod if it’s going to be a single cell. Period, end of story, there’s no argument. So it’s a con that it’s not 21700. In case you haven’t noticed that that’s where I’m going with this.
Because it’s a single 18650, you’ll run this thing at 60W, you’re just going to rip. I mean rip through the batteries. Guy like me, if I’m vaping it at 65W, I’m going to need 4 or 5, maybe 6 batteries to pop into this thing. So that’s a con.
I hate the location of the menu button. I don’t like that it’s not next to the plus and minus button. It bothers me. It should be in the middle of the tube. It’s a bad job. I don’t like it, con.
The slider cap on the tank. It does have a very nice resistance but I prefer to see it with a lock. It’s a con.
And the last con is going to be, while I do like the coil that I’m vaping on now, the one that I showed you that I was priming up, not afan. Not a fan of that C cell coil. I never have been. I just wish they would have put another coil on there because I’m just not a fan of that coil. So that’s more of a subjective con. You mouth-to-lung-ers are probably going to want that coil in the kit. But I got to point out for me personally.
That’s it on the cons, no real deal breakers. Let’s move on to the pros.
First pro is going to be, love that Gen style finish. Awesome job, Vaporesso. It’s a pro.
Comfortable, this thing is so comfortable to hold. It’s got that little contour right here, just feels great in the hand. It’s a great form factor, pro.
It fires fast.
It’s got that great chipset, that Axon chipset, the same one that’s in the Vaporesso Gen dual battery. Pro.
Has all the bells and whistles.
The battery cap on it is really nice and smooth and machined well, pro.
It’s got an easy menu system.
They did a great job matching the tank to the mod.
Great flavor and clouds. Let me show you what I’m working with. It’s the coil you saw me primed. I’m at 62W. Check thing thing out. I got it in Pulse mode. It’s just fantastic. For this little guy to do that, full saturation, full flavor, really nice cloud production. I’m only at 62W. It’s just an all-around great vape. The only issue is at this wattage, you’re just going to shove through the battery. But with this type of flavor and clouds, who cares?
As you expect from the chipset, the TC on this is really good.
It’s got 2 amp internal charging. We highly recommend that you only charge externally. It’s not big of a deal on the single cell mod to charge internally so it’s a nice feature to have on the mod. I like it, it’s a pro.
Fits 25mm on top without any overhang. But that’s it, you ain’t going any bigger.
And the tank that it comes with the kit is compatible with all the Vaporesso GT coils. That’s a pro. There’s a bunch of them out there.
Let’s go over some of the specs on the Vaporesso Swag 2 kit. It measures in at 50mm x 25mm x 75mm. It fires down to 0.03ohms and it has a 3.5ml capacity. It is a single 18650 mod with an 80W maximum. 2 amp charging is on board and it does feature the Axon chipset. It has a 0.91in OLED display. It’s got tons of features like power mode, pulse, TC, curve mode, variable voltage mode, bypass mode, and super player mode. Two coils are in the kit. You get a 0.15ohm GT mesh coil, good for 50-75W. You also get a 0.5ohm GT C cell coil, good for 25-35W. The Vaporesso Swag 2 is available in red, blue, silver, and black.

Want to give a huge shout out to Vaporesso for sending this one my way. I’m definitely digging the blue one. We’re going to have a link down below to Vaporesso. Make sure you go over there and show them some support.
Don’t forget, Insiders. We cannot become complacent. We have to fight for our right to vape. We have to call our legislators up. We have to talk to them. We have to email them. We have to tweet at them. You see them in the neighborhood, get up on them, let the know you vape, you vote and you will not support any politician that supports any type of flavor ban.
Also, make sure you head on over to our Facebook group. We’re always talking about vaping there. We talk about advocacy, we talk about RTAs, RDAs, juices, we got sales over there that we talk about. It’s just a great group with a bunch of knowledgeable people. I’m over there all the time. Head on over there and join up. We’ll have a link down below. I promise you’ll enjoy yourself because it’s a no-drama zone.
That’s it, Insiders. That’s all I got for you guys, today. Now more than ever, make sure you keep living that vape life. We’re out of here. Deuces.
