Many of the e-liquids used in vaping devices contain nicotine. Nicotine can lead to circulation problems as well as heart disease. You can lower the risk by choosing e-liquids with less nicotine or with no nicotine at all.

Is vaping legal?

Yes! Vaping devices are similar to e-cigarettes and are completely legal. There are some legal restrictions on where you can use your vaping device but this will vary by jurisdiction. Many places that ban cigarette smoking indoors have begun to ban e-cigarettes as well. Vaping device are also banned on planes in some areas.

Does vaping get you high?

No, most people vape e-liquid which contains only nicotine and flavoring. It is also possible to get e-liquid without nicotine.

Which is better, vaping vs. smoking cigarettes?

What are the repeated costs of vaping?

What’s the battery life like?

Cig alikes last around 200 puffs and the ego batteries last 600 puffs and up. For the typical vaper that can mean anything between four to ten hours of vaping.

What are mods?

A mod generally refers to any vaping device that doesn’t look like a traditional cigarette. Vaping devices that look like cigarettes are called cigalikes.

What is ‘dripping’?
Dripping is a method of vaping where you add a small amount of e-liquid directly to your wick and then vape immediately. The more common, and easier, way of vaping is just to fill a tank with e-liquid.

What is an atomizer?

An atomizer is a part of the vaping device that has a coil of wire and a wick. The wick soaks up e-liquid and the coil heats the e-liquid soaked wick, turning the liquid into vapor.

What is a clearomizer?

Every vaping device is made up of a battery, an atomizer, and a tank for the e-liquid. The atomizer turns the liquid into vapor. A clearomizer is a tank with an atomizer in it. A clearomizer has a glass or clear plastic tank so that you can see how much e-juice is left in your tank. Different clearomizers have the heating coil or coils in different positions along with different wick sizes, allowing you to customise your vaping experience.

What is a cartomizer?

Vaping devices all contain a heating element that turns the liquid into vapor, this heating coil can be in a cartomizer, atomizer, or clearomizer. A cartomizer is mostly found in older, poorer quality e-cigarettes.

How do I get more vapor?

To produce as much vapor as possible you will want a battery with high power, and multiple coils in your atomizer with a high volume of air going through it. E-liquid with a high VG (Vegetable Glycerine) content will also produce more vapor.

A box mod is a square shaped vaping device.

What’s an RTA?
RTA stands for rebuildable tank atomizer. It is a device that allows you to build your own atomizer coils (recall that the atomizer is what heats the liquid, turning it into vapor).

What are 18650 batteries?

18650 describe the size of the battery. 18650 batteries have a diameter of 1.8mm and a height of 65mm. Most vaping devices take 18650 batteries.

Can kids vape?

Children should not use vaping devices. While much less harmful than cigarettes they are still harmful. A study published in Reproductive Toxicology showed that vaping can damage lungs that are still developing. Most e-liquids contain nicotine which is obviously not suitable for kids.

What vaping Flavors are there?

There are literally thousand of flavors of e-liquids you can buy. Everything from traditional cigarette flavors, drink flavors, fruit flavors, dessert flavors, and just about anything else you can think of.

What’s the difference between a low power and a high power battery?

Lower battery power means the coil in the atomizer doesn’t get as hot. The coil heats the e-liquid and turns it into vapor. A cooler coil means less vapor is produced, and because of this also less flavor.

What’s the difference between volts and watts?

You can alter the power output of a battery by controlling the voltage or the wattage. Changing the wattage provides an easier and a more consistent vaping experience.

Is vaping on planes allowed?

It is not currently illegal to vape on planes but airlines prohibit it. Vaping is prohibited because other passengers may mistake the vapor for smoke and become alarmed. Also vaping devices which produce a large amount of vapor may upset nearby passengers.

What’s a throat hit?

A throat hit is the feeling in your throat when you inhale from a traditional cigarette. Some people enjoy this and want to simulate the experience when vaping and other people prefer vaping devices that minimize this feeling.
