First Impression Out Of The Box:

The Wotofo Lush Plus comes in a two-tiered box. On the first tier, you will see the 24mm Lush Plus. Pull out the foam section and beneath it, you have three bags filled with wire, cotton, and spare parts. The packaging is typical of Wotofo and what I’ve come to expect after owning quite a few of their atomizers.

What’s In The box:

  • One Wotofo Lush Plus 24mm RDA
  • Phillips Screwdriver
  • Spare Parts Pack
  • One Pack of Wotofo Comp Wire Pre Built Coils
  • One Pack of Organic Cotton

One thing was kind of weird. Wotofo included 3 coils. As far as I can tell, this RDA only has a dual coil mode to it. Then why they would include an odd number of coils? I guess they are thinking just in case you mess one up while building. But it would have been nice to get two full sets.

From Top To Bottom:

Starting off at the top, we have what Wotofo calls a proprietary 9mm Delrin drip tip. To be honest, it is a Goon style drip tip and I have checked all my other Goom drip tips and they fit in the top cap very snug as well. I like the Delrin drip tip that’s included because it is on the tall side and not one of those short, chubby, chuff caps that I can’t stand.

The top cap and barrel are all one piece. Inside this piece, you will find a very conical design. This probably contributes to the awesome flavor this RDA delivers. The combination top cap barrel has a nice resistance to it and it is held in place by two rings at the base.

The base of this RDA has two nice o’rings that work well with the top cap and barrel. This is a bottom airflow RDA. The airflow is not adjustable. To some, that may be a con but I find the airflow to be fine just the way it is. It’s not what I would call loose but it’s not that restrictive either. It’s somewhere in the middle. The air slots measure 4 mm x 2 mm and there are four of them, two on each side that are side by side. On the bottom of the RDA, there is some Wotofo branding present. The threading on the 510 pin is very smooth. The 510 pin has an insulator around it and does protrude quite a bit. The pin itself is adjustable and gold plated. The Lush Plus is available in black and stainless steel.

The Deck:

The deck is an offset dual-split post deck. The terminals are staggered and really make building a pleasure on it. Kudos to Wotofo for an innovative design. Each terminal measures 2.4 millimeters and your leads are secured by top mounted Phillips screws. The Lush Plus has a Kennedy style airflow system. The tubes are raised and sit below the coil. This minimizes leakage on a bottom airflow RDA. The juice well is deceptively deep as well.

Building And Wicking:

I truly enjoyed building on the Lush Plus and I’ll explain why. The offset post makes building a sheer pleasure on this RDA. There is no need to pre-cut your coils like you do on some decks because the terminals are offset. It leaves the builder plenty of room to get a wire cutter in there and clip their leads. Simply place your coil over the air slots and wick it up. It really is that easy. Coil placement as with most RDAs is key, of course. You want to make sure you get that coil right over the air tubes. When wicking you want to make sure that the ends of your cotton clear the air tubes and do not obstruct the airflow at all. At first, I thought because of the bottom airflow this would be a nightmare for the type of dripper that over drips. However, the Lush Plus has proved to have a deceptively deep juice well. It is very hard to over drip on the Lush Plus and you almost have to drip a ridiculous amount of juice into it in order to get it to leak.

But Deuces, How Does It Vape?

I think this RDA is one of the sleeper RDA’s of 2017. I get some of the best flavor I have ever gotten off of any RDA. It is a breeze to build on and it’s even more of a pleasure to vape. I love the flavor I get from a bottom airflow RDA but I don’t always like the mess I get because I tend to be somewhat of a sloppy dripper. This has not been the case with the Lush Plus. I get great flavor, massive clouds, and the juice stays where it should in the RDA. I do get a little wetness now and then on my mod, but that’s to be expected because of the bottom airflow. I haven’t been able to put down the Lush Plus since I received it and it has quickly become one of my favorite RDAs. That alone is saying a lot because being a reviewer I have a ton of RDA’s to choose from.

Right now, I have dual Aliens in their ohming out at .26 at 60 watts in power mode. I am getting a fantastic, flavorful, vape off of this build in this RDA. The clouds are great and the vapor is thick, dense, and lush. No pun intended.

Conclusion:

If you’re looking for a simple RDA that is easy to build and wick, you don’t need to look any further. The Lush Plus checks off all those boxes. Everything this RDA sets out to do, it does extremely well. While the clouds on the Lush Plus are not bad, make no mistake about it, this is a flavor atomizer first. It is well constructed, very easy to build on, flavorful, and cloudy. I mean really, what more do you really want from an RDA? Basically, what I’m saying is go out and get yourself a Lush Plus and you can thank me later. I promise you will not regret it. This RDA is without a doubt DeucesJack approved.
